Maple Tree Description

Its name means “blue green dragon” and is one of the only upright growing Japanese maple trees with lace leaves. A vigorous grower with slightly smaller leaves than those of most other dissectums, this beauty will reach 20-25 feet tall and 12 feet wide in 10 years. In the spring the leaves are a bright green color lightening to a softer green in the summer, then turn every color of the rainbow from golden yellow to crimson red in the fall. Seiryu is one of the most beautiful Japanese maples and has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and can handle full sun or part shade.
